After selecting your books and adding them to your cart, you will be asked to submit your order to your assigned salesperson. If you don't know who that is, that's fine, we'll look it up for you!

What do I have to do to buy wholesale from you?

We don't really have many 'barriers to entry'. As long as you purchase four or more books you will recieve wholesale prices.

On each product page you can see what the cost reduction is per quantity, in the table right below the price.

How does the discount structure work?

For each product, you will see it has a little table below the SRP. That is the discount table. The number on the top is how many you have to buy to qualify for the discount listed below. The number below is the percentage off the suggested retail price (SRP). The red "Wholesale" that's listed is the best wholesale price that is available for that product.

It's important to note that the quantities are calculated per category of product. That means if you buy one each of 30 different books, you will receive the discount for all of them. But if you then go add 1 map, you'll still be paying full price for that map unless you order more maps. The shopping cart will autocalculate the prices for you so you can see what price you will receive.

What if I'm a retail customer?

We suggest you head over to our retail side at AlaskaBooksAndCalendars.com. You can order and pay online and we'll ship it to you!

How does the shipping and delivery work?

Our salespeople will get in touch with you after you have ordered to discuss out how you want us to get your order to you. If you are somewhere relatively accessible, our salespeople are usually happy to deliver by hand! But Alaska is a big place and we can't always do that. If your store is not located near one of our warehouses, we will ship your order to you, but that can incur shipping charges. Talk to your sales rep to figure out what works best for you.

Can I just pick up my order from you warehouse?

Absolutely! We're open 8 to 5 weekdays. Just make sure to confirm when you'll be coming with your sales rep so he can have it packaged and ready for you.

What happens when I submit an order?

The information you submit is emailed to the salesperson assigned to you (if you selected 'Not Sure' then we will assign someone to you and they will contact you.) At that point, they'll check on inventory and make sure we have all of it in stock, and then reach out to you to work out any delivery details or questions they have. You'll work out your final invoice with them and then you'll get your books!

Can I sell above or below srp?

You can sell your books at any price you wish. SRP stands for Suggested Retail Price. So it's all up to you! Most books have the SRP printed on the back, so if you sell at a different price you might consider putting a sticker with the new price on it. But we won't tell you how to run your business.
